Mini's Section

We have a thriving youth section at Wootton Bassett.

With over 200 playing members, and at least one RFU qualified coach within per age group. We run the following sections:-

Minis for U7’s to U12’s. Both Boys and Girls of all abilities welcome.

Juniors for Boys U13’s to U15’s.

Colts for Boys U16’s to U18’s.

Within each section we run all age groups. We take our rugby very seriously and fixtures are arranged against some of the top clubs in the area such as Bath, Newbury, Cleve, as well as playing local clubs such as Swindon, Chippenham, & Cirencester.

We encourage all members to play to their full potential, whether that is at club level, for their county or even for their country. To date 3 boys have gone on to play for England at either U16’s or U18’s level.

While it is hoped that most youngsters will stay and play senior rugby for Wootton Bassett some have gone on to play for senior sides elsewhere, for clubs like, Cleve, Newbury, Bath, & Bristol Shoguns.
